Jacobo Vega-Albela brings together a quartet of close collaborators from Rochester, NY, performing original compositions alongside songbook selections and post-bop works from the 1960s onward, creating a sound that is both forward-looking and deeply rooted in the jazz tradition.

Rooted in the same spirit of deep listening and musical conversation, the group expands beyond the repertoire to explore new compositions shaped by each member’s voice.
